Relax and enjoy the unique wines in their air-conditioned cellar door during the warmer months and fireside in the adjoining atrium during the cooler months, whilst admiring the picturesque scenery and spectacular sandstone formation known as Yellow Rock.

The cellar door is available for corporate events and more intimate private functions.

Talits Estate is a family-owned cellar door that sits on 50 acres of beautifully crafted gardens, olive trees and meticulously managed and award-winning Chardonnay, Merlot and Shiraz vines. The vineyard is James Halliday rated and has won multiple awards in boutique and Australian/NZ wine shows.

The Winemaker Daniel Binet, has been twice nominated for The Wine Society’s Young Winemaker of the Year and Hunter Valley Rising Star and recently the Hunter Wine Excellence scholarship. The cellar door and guest house was designed by French architects and constructed by world-class craftsmen utilising the finest materials and adorned with European fittings, Talits Estate is a true Provençal masterpiece.

A visitor highlight is the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a viticulturist, winemaker and olive producer. Join them for a tutored walking tour of the vineyard, olive grove and winery and uncover what happens behind the scenes. A relaxed and educational tasting in the cellar door reveals the secrets of the vineyard, winery and the makers. Krinklewood is a family run biodynamic organic vineyard and farm in Broke Fordwich. Passionate about the vineyard and farm being managed in a holistic and sustainable manner, therefore biodynamic principles are incorporated into everything they do. Working alongside nature and in alignment with the lunar cycles, they are able to create wines that reflect the unique characteristics of Krinklewood terroir. We love their Rosé.

Set amongst provencal gardens overlooking the picturesque Wollombi brook and the foothills of the Brokenback mountain range, the cellar door is a must visit when in the Hunter Valley.

The cellar door features biodynamic organic wines for tastings, delicious cheese plates and a range of seasonal organic produce.

In a picturesque Red Barn encircled by the Brokenback Ranges and Wollombi Brook, you’ll find Greenway Wines, a family owned and operated vineyard producing handcrafted, small batch wines. They are a ‘micro’ boutique vineyard and cellar door. They focus on estate grown and estate made wines. The wines are 100% GREENWAY single vineyard fruit – nurtured using sustainable vinicultural practices. They are passionate and dedicated to the craft and produce approx 500 cases per year. The Wines are only available at the cellar door or on the web site. Varieties include Pinot Grigio, our sort after Fiano, a gorgeous Rosè, the supplest of merlots, and of course – ‘the architect’ Shiraz. We also have a selection of sparkling wines and a dessert wine to finish!

This is a wonderful experience and a generous wine tasting. David is a great cellar door owner and very engaged with his customers. Unique cellar door made from Containers but very luxurious. His wines are a real experience.

Kawal Rock Distillery

A unique vineyard and gin distillery based in the beautiful Hunter Valley. They hand-craft bespoke spirits and wines made from local ingredients, and from their own 60 year old vines. The vineyard is located at the base of the Rock which holds significance to the local Wonnarua people. Legend has it that the twin wedge-tailed eagles that live on the Rock and can often be seen circling the vineyard are ancient protectors of this land. The Wonnaruan name for the eagle is Ka-Wal, our namesake.

Mead, also known as honey wine is the oldest fermented drink in the world.
The earliest known meads were found in ancient Chinese pottery, being
a mixture of honey, rice and fruit. It is more commonly known as the drink of the Vikings.

Honey Wines Australia Meadery are beekeepers as well as mead makers. Their hard working bees visited around one million flowers to produce each bottle and flew 44,000km.

The meadery cellar door is based in Broke, part of the Hunter Valley region of NSW. With shipping to your door just about anywhere in Australia.
